Seville offers a variety of outdoor cinema options spread across various points in the city.
Asómate al Patio
From June 26 to September 8, 2024, the Patio de la Diputación, located at Avenida de Menéndez Pelayo, 32, will host the “Asómate al Patio” series. The venue accommodates 900 people and has a refreshment area.
Veladas de los Jardines Andalusíes
Throughout July, the Foundation 3 Culturas, located at Pabellón Hassan II, Calle Max Planck, 2, presents “Veladas de los Jardines Andalusíes.” Screenings start at 22:00 with original version and subtitles (VOS).
Veranillos del Alamillo
During July and August, Parque del Alamillo hosts “Veranillos del Alamillo,” offering activities for all ages at El Cortijo, including movies, magic shows, music, and workshops for children. It’s an ideal choice for a summer night with family.
CAAC Summer Cinema
Since June 5, the Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo, at Calle Américo Vespucio, 2, presents “CAAC Summer Cinema.” Screenings start at 22:30, doors open at 21:50. Admission is free, and the program is available online.
Summer Cinema in the South / Tuesday Cinema in the North District
During July and August, the South District organizes free outdoor cinema sessions in different neighborhoods on Fridays and Saturdays at 21:30. Residents can enjoy movies under the stars in their own community.
The North District also participates with “Tuesday Cinema,” offering screenings in July and August at locations such as Valdezorras, Plaza Ramón Rueda de Pino Montano, Parque El Campillo de San Jerónimo, and Parque José Ma. de los Santos. All sessions start at 22:00, and admission is free.
2. Music: Festivals and Concerts
Undoubtedly, music is one of the highlights animating Seville’s nights in the coming months.
Noches de Verano at Palacio de los Marqueses de La Algaba
During July and August, Palacio de los Marqueses de La Algaba, Plaza Calderón de la Barca, s/n, hosts “Noches de Verano.” This festival promises cultural events in a historic setting, offering a unique experience in the heart of Seville.
Noches de Verano at CaixaForum
From June 27 to July 25, CaixaForum Sevilla, at Calle López Pintado, s/n, presents its own “Noches de Verano” series. Enjoy a varied cultural program including music, theater, and other artistic activities in a modern and welcoming space.
ICÓNICA Fest
“Icónica Fest” takes place at the iconic Plaza de España during June and July, featuring prominent artists and a diverse musical program.
3. Water Sports Activities on the River
The Guadalquivir River becomes a vibrant stage for various water sports activities during the summer.
Kayaking and Paddle Surfing are among the most enjoyable activities suitable for everyone, offered by Kayak Sevilla, Paddle Surf SUP Guadalquivir, and Paddle Surf Sevilla.
4. A Refreshing Dip
Water parks offer an exciting way to cool off and enjoy the sun. In Seville, we have two: Agua Mágica, located in the urban core, and Gudalpark, the legendary park ensuring family fun.
5. Flamenco
To complete your summer plan in Seville, a visit to the flamenco tablao “La Cantaora” offers a unique cultural experience.
