WHAT IS RAÍCES
Back to the origins of flamenco, different every night
Raíces is inspired by the old cafés cantantes: real flamenco, close to the audience and with nothing artificial. The show follows a set structure through some of the most representative palos, but the artists choose part of the repertoire every night, so no two shows are exactly the same.

THE SHOW
What you'll see during the 60 minutes of Raíces
Six moments that take the audience from the elegance of the alegrías to the final explosion of the bulerías.
-
Alegrías with bata de cola and Manila shawl
The brightest palo in flamenco, born in Cádiz. The dancer masters the bata de cola and the Manila shawl, two of the most elegant and demanding elements of the dance.
-
Sevillanas with castanets
Seville's most popular dance, with the sound of castanets marking every verse. A nod to the city and its fair.
-
Guitar solo
The guitar takes the stage. A moment to hear flamenco guitar in all its richness, from rasgueos to falsetas.
-
Two dances that change every night
Every night the artists choose two different palos from some of the deepest and most festive in the repertoire.
- Soleá
- Seguiriya
- Tarantos
- Guajira
- Tangos
A different combination every night: no two shows are the same.
-
Bulerías finale
The whole cast on stage. The bulerías close the night with compás, palmas, jaleo and improvisation.
