Performances at La Cantaora
JOSE LUIS “EL MORITO” has worked with the Farruco family in various shows. He was the personal guitarist for La Duquesa De Alba. He toured in the Netherlands with the company of Curro Vélez. He traveled to Islas Madeira and Portugal with the company of Angelita Vargas. He made an appearance in the Japanese short film “Experiences of a Married Woman.” He participated in the film “Tarantos y Montoyas.” He took part in the series “La Mujer Duende” alongside Rosario Flores and El Gran Wyoming. In 1995, he worked in Japan with the company of Domingo Ortega at the El Flamenco tablao.
In 1998, he returned to Japan to the “El Café De Chinitas” tablao with the group of Isabel López, and later to the “El Flamenco” tablao in Osaka alongside dancers Isabel López, Mercedes Ruiz, and Andrés Peña. He toured North America in the show “Desde Abajo” with dancer Isabel López. He participated in the show “De la Punta a la Raíz” directed by Rafaela Carrasco at the closing of the 2012 Seville Biennial at the Maestranza Theater alongside Merche Esmeralda, Pastora Galvan, Belen Maya, Rafael Campallo, and others.
