Performances at La Cantaora
Born from the deep roots of flamenco in Utrera, this cantaora began her career in the flamenco world by participating in competitions, quickly making a name for herself by winning the first prize awarded by “La Casa del Arte Flamenco Antonio Mairena.”
Throughout her career, she has been an integral part of renowned flamenco companies, such as those led by Paco Peña, Juan Ogalla, Olga Pericet, and Marco Flores. Her art has resonated in prestigious theaters and flamenco festivals in cities like Los Angeles and Düsseldorf, Germany.
Between 2015 and 2016, she was part of the group “Flamencura” alongside Paco Peña, touring the United States. Her performance at the Carolina Theatre in Durham, NC, included a flamenco workshop at the local arts school, in celebration of the 400th anniversary of “Don Quixote” during the “Festival del Quijote.”
She has also shone at the Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla and the Teatro de la Maestranza, sharing the stage with notable figures such as Miguel Poveda.
