EUGENIO IGLESIAS, flamenco guitarist, better known in the history of flamenco guitar art by his artistic name EUGENIO IGLESIAS, was born in Talavera de la Reina, Toledo, on March 1, 1968, the birthplace of his father. However, when he was six years old, his parents moved to Seville, the homeland of his mother, and it is the city where he truly grew up.

He is the grandson of Miguel el Visco and the brother of Melchor de Marchena. Eugenio started his studies with Don Julio Rodríguez for a period and later with Don Mario Escudero. Throughout his career, he has accompanied prominent flamenco figures such as Farruco, Manuela Carrasco, Angelita Vargas, Chiquetete, La Susi, Carmelilla Montoya, Lole y Manuel, Raimundo Amador, and Cristina Hoyos, among others.

He is also a dedicated composer since his early years. Currently, he accompanies the singing of Argentina on her tours in Spain and has collaborated in composing the work dedicated to Frida Khalo, which Amador Rojas premiered in 2008. He is currently presenting his new show “Iglesias” with his brothers Paco and Miguel Iglesias, premiered at the 2012 Seville Biennial.

Throughout his career, he has played for renowned dancers such as Farruco, José Galván, Cristina Hoyos, Mario Maya, Manuela Carrasco, Angelita Vargas, Sara Varas, and Antonio Canales, among others. Currently, he tours with artists Argentina, Toñi Fernández, and Regina García.

Excellent show, specially meant for tourists who don’t know about flamenco and Spanish guitar. Totally worth it ( except for paying an extra 10€ for the drinks
