Claudia de Utrera

Performances at La Cantaora

Born in Madrid on April 6, 2007, she carries flamenco in her blood thanks to her family roots in Utrera and Lebrija. From a very young age, her grandparents nurtured her passion for this art, especially her grandfather, a professional guitarist, with whom she began dancing at just 3 years old in the living room at home.

Her first stage performance came at the age of 5, dancing a farruca accompanied by her grandfather on guitar. At 7, she enrolled in the flamenco school “La Truco”, marking a key stage in her artistic development. There, she joined the group Las Turroneras, performing throughout Spain for three years and gaining international attention after a viral video brought the group to fame.

She has earned several scholarships, was mentored by “El Farru”, and became a finalist in the first edition of Spanish TV show The Dancer. She was also a finalist in the Youth Desplante category at the International Festival of Cante de las Minas (La Unión, Murcia) and winner of the 4th Flamenco Cultural Center Contest in Madrid.

Today, she performs regularly in flamenco venues in Madrid and Seville, while continuing her training at the Cristina Heeren Foundation (Seville) and through masterclasses at the Amor de Dios school (Madrid), learning from some of flamenco’s greatest artists
