Performances at La Cantaora
Mexican flamenco dancer, born in the city of Aguascalientes, Mexico, began her passion for flamenco dancing at the prestigious “Flamenco Vive” Academy. At the age of eight, she began her training under the guidance of Cristóbal Reyes, honing her technique during her time in Madrid in 2001. She continued to refine her artistry in renowned spaces such as Amor de Dios in Madrid and the Cristina Heeren Foundation in Seville, where she was awarded a scholarship and later served as an assistant teacher.
Among her mentors are luminaries such as Cristóbal Reyes, Antonio and Manuel Reyes, Javier Barón, Carmelilla Montoya, Milagros Mengíbar, Luisa Palicio, Choro Molina, Adela Campallo, and Lucía “La Piñona”, among others.
At the age of 18, she accompanied Cristóbal Reyes as a repeater on his tours of courses in various cities of Mexico in 2011 and 2012, and she received a scholarship from the Cultural Institute of Aguascalientes, Mexico, through the State Fund for Culture and the Arts, FECA 2012-2013, to study at Amor de Dios.
She was part of María Juncal’s company “Bailamos Flamenco” in 2013 as a solo dancer at the Teatro de la Ciudad de México. She has participated in important festivals such as “Flamencos y Mestizos” directed by Paco Ortega in Madrid (2015), in Bilbao (2017) alongside Antonio Molina “El Choro”, and in Úbeda (2019) debuting her own proposal “Calle de la Compañía”, which she repeated that same year at the IV Festival Esprit de Bayonne.
At the XX Jerez Festival, she performed as a soloist with the show “Eclosión” by the Cristina Heeren Foundation and participated as a dance corps in “Flamenconautas” directed by Javier Latorre at the XXII Jerez Festival. In 2019, she was appointed first alternate for the Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía.
Her talent led her to collaborate with Rosalía at the MTVEMA’s in Seville in November 2019, and in 2020 and 2022, she collaborated with the brand Dior at prominent events. She is currently part of the show “#SiDiosKiere” by Antonio Molina “El Choro”.
At the 2023 Jerez Festival, she premiered her first solo show, “Siempre Vivo”, and in July of the same year, she performed in Jordan at the Jerash International Festival for Culture and Arts, thus consolidating her international recognition.
