ANA MARÍA MÁRQUEZ HEREDIA, a Sevillian dancer, better known in the history of flamenco dance as ANA MARÍA “LA MARQUESITA”. She possesses powerful footwork, great flair, and a unique way of conceiving rhythm. Additionally, she handles the feminine elements of dance, such as the shawl or the train, with great skill.
Among the awards she has received, it is worth highlighting the first prize for Alegrías granted by the “La Perla de Cádiz” flamenco association. Throughout her artistic career, she has been part of prestigious flamenco companies, including those of Cristina Hoyos, Manuela Carrasco, Alejandro Granados, Rafael Amargo, and Farruquito’s company in 2004. Currently, she works in prestigious tablaos while also teaching.
